Keto Mexican Black Bean Chili



A keto-friendly twist on traditional Mexican black bean chili, this hearty dish is packed with flavor from spices and vegetables without the beans.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro for garnish
  • 1/4 cup diced avocado for garnish
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese for garnish
  • 1/4 cup sour cream for garnish

Instructions:

Over medium-low heat, brown the ground beef in a large pot until it's fully cooked

Put the bell pepper, onion, and garlic in the pot and cook them until they get soft

The tomato paste, chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, and cayenne pepper should all be mixed in

Add pepper and salt to taste

Slowly cook the chili for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring it every now and then, until the flavors blend and the chili gets thick

Add chopped cilantro, diced avocado, shredded cheese, and sour cream on top of the hot dish to serve

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb calamari rings, thawed if frozen
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions:

Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Donuts



Try this simple recipe to make delicious Krispy Kreme-style donuts at home. These donuts have that well-known glaze that we all adore, and they're fluffy and sweet.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup water, warmed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • For the Glaze:
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt

Add warmed milk, water, eggs, softened butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients

Mix until a dough forms

Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size

Punch down the dough and roll it out to 1/2-inch thickness

Use a donut cutter to cut out donut shapes

Place the donuts on a baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350F 175C

Carefully fry the donuts in batches until they are golden brown on both sides, about 1-2 minutes per side

Remove donuts using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels

For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth

Dip each donut into the glaze and let excess drip off

  • 1 loaf of whole grain bread
  • 1 cup hummus
  • 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 1 large tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Slice the whole grain bread into desired sandwich sizes

Spread hummus generously on one side of each slice of bread

Layer cucumber, tomato, red onion, avocado, and spinach leaves on half of the bread slices

Season with salt and pepper

Top with the remaining slices of bread to create sandwiches

Secure sandwiches with toothpicks or wrap in parchment paper

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to pack for your picnic

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions:
